TERMS & CONDITIONS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

All work is carried out in good faith by a professionally trained and competent chimney sweep

It is the homeowner/tenant’s responsibility to inform the chimney sweep of any known faults and that the appliance has been safely and correctly installed by a registered installer and in a good condition to be swept

Your chimney sweep cannot be held responsible for any faults or defects discovered during the sweep process. Consumable parts, i.e. firebricks and seals, often break down and can only be identified on removal of such parts, your chimney sweep cannot be held responsible for any replacement parts or costs in such cases.

A visual inspection will be carried out on arrival, but due to the concealed nature of the chimney flue and appliances, any faults may not be identified before the sweep commences. Any faults will be reported, and advice on a remedy will be provided.

PETS & CHILDREN

It is the homeowner/tenant’s responsibility to keep pets and children supervised within the property throughout our visit. They should remain in a separate room for the duration of our visit and always have a designated responsible person with them. We cannot accept liability for loss or injury. We cannot enter a property without a responsible adult being present.

SECURITY

It is the responsibility of the homeowner/tenant to secure any valuable items at all times throughout our visit, including any furniture and breakables, away from the immediate work route or area, often multiple trips to the van are needed, meaning doors can be left open at times
